Heads of the seven Bhadrakali Nelas in Kodagu district offered special prayers for rain at the Padi Sri Igguttappa Temple.

With Kodagu district experiencing rising temperatures and water scarcity due to inadequate rainfall, devotees prayed for timely rains and prosperity.

Representatives from the seven Bhadrakali Nelas of Katakeri, Galibeedu, Ibnivalavadi, Makkandur, Haleri, Kedakkal and Madenad, dressed in traditional Kodava attire, visited the temple and performed Baiwad Seva.
