A quiz competition focusing on Operation Sindhur was organized at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Kodagu as part of Parakram Diwas celebrations and the Pariksha Pe Charcha programme.
Parakram Diwas was observed at the school to commemorate the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Speaking on the occasion, dignitaries noted that Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into a significant mass movement that encourages students, teachers, and parents to approach examinations with positivity and celebrate them like a festival.
A series of activities were organized under Pariksha Pe Charcha from January 12 to January 23. As part of these activities, the school conducted a quiz competition on Operation Sindhur, focusing on the core themes of Swadeshi and the courage, valour, and selfless service of the Indian Armed Forces.
PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya is one of the 500 KendriyaVidyalayas selected across the country to conduct this quiz competition. A total of 100 students from state government and CBSE-affiliated schools in Kodagu district participated, including students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, ALG Crescent, Government PU College Madikeri, St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, General Thimmaiah Public School, and Kodagu Vidyalaya.
The competition was held on the school premises. Trophies were awarded to the top three teams, while all participants received e-certificates. Students from participating schools shared their experiences and expressed appreciation for the initiative.
