District-Level Table Tennis Tournament Held at Kodagu Vidyalaya

The District-Level Inter-School Table Tennis Championship 2025-26 was conducted at Kodagu Vidyalaya, with 80 students displaying their sporting skills across multiple categories. Kodagu Vidyalaya has been hosting this tournament for two consecutive years, and the event was successfully organised this year as well.

District Table Tennis Association President Mallengada Rachan Ponnappa inaugurated the tournament by lighting the lamp. He remarked that table tennis is a sport that fosters discipline, concentration and sportsmanship.

At the valedictory ceremony, School Management Director Gurudutt C.S. distributed prizes and stated that table tennis greatly enhances mental focus and concentration.

Table Tennis Training Academy Convener Harishankar and other guests were felicitated on the occasion.

Principal K.S. Sumitra, Administrator Ravi P., members of the School Management Board, teachers, parents and students from various schools attended the championship.

First: Devarya M.Y. (Murnadu Educational Society, Murnadu)

Second: Gagan H.S. (Morarji Desai Residential School, Kudige)

Under 18 Girls Singles:

First: Sheetal M.A. (Morarji Desai Residential School, Kudige)

Second: Adya Gangamma (Kodagu Vidyalaya)

Under 16 Boys Singles:

First: Avanish Krishna G.H. (Kodagu Vidyalaya)

Second: Shishir G.S. (Govt. Junior College, Madikeri)

Under 14 Boys Doubles:

First: Shashank H.M. & Gagan H.S. (Morarji Desai Residential School, Kudige)

Second: Niranjan N. Machhu & Felix Ronald R. (Kodagu Vidyalaya)

Under 18 Girls Doubles:

First: Sheetal M.A. & Prakriti S.P. (Morarji Desai Residential School, Kudige)

Second: Adya Gangamma & Amrutha Neelamma (Kodagu Vidyalaya)

Under 16 Boys Doubles:
