The state-level boys’ and girls’ PU College Shuttle Badminton Tournament was inaugurated at the General Thimmaiah Indoor Stadium by MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda.
Addressing participants, he said victory and defeat are part of sports, and students must focus on discipline, health and consistent practice.
International badminton player Jyothi Somaiah encouraged students to uphold humility and respect, while officials from the School Education Department highlighted the importance of sportsmanship.
