Elect suitable members for Kodagu Coffee Growers Co-operative Society

Satish Appachu and Telapanda Pramod Somaiah, members of the Kodagu Coffee Growers
Co -operative Society, have alleged that the current governing body of  the Kodagu Coffee Growers Co -operative Society, had failed to make any benefit to the coffee grower members of the association. Even though the association which came into existence by the elders with broad mind for the benefit of the coffee growers their aim was not fulfilled, they complained.

Speaking further they said that the association has 9217 members at the end of March 2024. The share of 2903 members is incomplete. Of the remaining 6314 members, only 487 members are eligible to vote in the election.

The present administration body which has failed to provide efficient leadership in a long period of 17 years, from 2005-07 and  2010-2025.

Satish Appachu and Pramod Somaiah have also alleged that despite the large amount of assets is there in the association, the development of the association and as well as  for  the benefit of the members of the association, has not fulfilled and  failed to provide  any facilities to coffee growers.
